The Vernon Elementary Library houses approximately 5,000 books ranging in a variety of subject areas. The students at Vernon Elementary participate in the Accelerated Reader program where some of the students have read as many as 500 books this school year.

The library currently has 19 computers, and students who visit the library each week get the opportunity to learn how to use the computers and navigate themselves online visiting websites and learning games.
